Greenlandic mobile liberalisation could subsidise internet

The potential deregulation of Greenland's mobile communications market could be used to subsidise Tele-Post Greenland's internet prices, according to Greenlandic broadcasting company KNR's news portal. KNR was quoting written comments by Minister for Housing, Building and Infrastructure Knud Kristiansen. It said new entrants to the market will only gain from competing with Tele-Post if they can manage to make a profit from operating on the internet market, something that KNR said Tele-Post itself has never achieved.
