GSMA gets GBP 38 mln from UK to work on digital inclusion worldwide

The GSMA said it has signed a "Partnership for Inclusion, Innovatin and Scale" with the UK's Department for International Development (DFID). Under the deal, GSMA will receive GBP 38 million in funding for its work on digital inclusion, digital identity, energy, water, sanitation and the reduction of the mobile gender gap. The GSMA will also focus on two new areas: disability and climate.
