GTBank enables third party mobile transfers in Nigeria

Guaranty Trust Bank has provided a channel through which customers can perform third party transfers to both GTBank and other bank account holders in Nigeria via their mobile phones, ThisDay reported. They should simply dial the USSD short code star 737 star with details of the amount and account number (NUBAN) of the beneficiary. The transfer service is only available to GTBank customers via phone numbers registered with the bank. There is a minimum transfer limit of NGN 1,000 and a daily transfer limit of NGN 20,000.
