GTT activates 4G service in Guyana

Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT) has finally started offering 4G-LTE services in parts of the country, according to a statement from the Ministry of Public Telecommunications. GTT customers from Georgetown to Great Diamond (East Bank of Demerara), Lusignan (East Coast of Demerara), Rosignol, Blairmont and New Amsterdam in Berbice are the first to benefit from the service, given a free SIM card to upgrade to the 4G network, which has been activated around 3 years after the company migrated to 3G.
