Guyana seeking to end GT&T monopoly

Wednesday 24 August 2016 | 11:02 CET | News

The negotiations are expected to begin next month and conclude by year-end, said Hinds, who also effectively ruled out discussing any compensation due to the operator for the remaining nine years of a licence that was automatically renewed in 2010 for another 15 years.
