GVT brand to disappear from 15 April

Brazilian operator GVT will disappear from the market on 15 April, over a year after Telefonica purchased the company. The broadband operator will use the Vivo brand, which covers Telefonica's mobile and fixed services throughout Brazil. From 2 April, the websites of GVT and Vivo will be unified, while the long distance code of GVT (25) will be substituted by that of Vivo (15). Customers should not see any changes in their contracted packages as Vivo will honour existing services by GVT. Also, GVT customers will be able to take part in the loyalty programme Vivo Valoriza which offers
