HAC suspends SatCon for 3 months for BeIN Sports piracy

Gabon's High Authority of Communication (HAC) has suspended the television operator SatCon for three months, reports Gabonmediatime. Authorities blame the company for airing 2018 football World Cup matches by illegally offering its subscribers the BeIN Sports signal. The regulatory authority said that SatCon had been engaged in these actions for several months, despite a formal notice on 08 August.
