Hackers attack Accellion file sharing system used by Singtel, user data may have been compromised

Singapore operator Singtel reports it has been informed by third-party vendor Accellion that its file sharing system called FTA has been illegally attacked by unidentified hackers. This is a standalone system that Singtel uses to share information internally as well as with external stakeholders. Accellion has informed that this incident is part of a wider concerted attack against users of their file sharing system.
