Half internet plans in Mexico offer speeds of over 10 Mbps

Of the 14 standalone internet plans in Mexico, 21 percent include speeds of below 10 Mbps, 29 percent include a speed of 10 Mbps and 50 Mbps include speeds of over 10 Mbps, according to a study by the Federal Telecommunications Institute (IFT). Among fixed telephony plans, 71 percent include unlimited local calls, 40 percent include unlimited long-distance international calls and 14 percent include unlimited calls to mobile numbers.
