Half of Brazil's mobile base stations lack municipal licence

About half of mobile base stations installed in Brazil have no municipal licence, even if they are already installed and running, according to the chairman of Nokia Siemens Networks in Brazil, Aluízio Byrro. He told local portal Teletime that the complexity and diversity of the laws governing the installation of antennas represent a barrier to the expansion of services.
