Head of German antitrust office calls for equal competition

The president of the Federal Cartel Office, Andreas Mundt, has appealed to German politicians to create fair conditions for competition, in an interview with the daily newspaper Der Tagesspiegel. He criticised the fact that telecoms providers face protests when they want to collect data, while Google and Facebook can extend their wealth of data without being checked. He said the competitors are not on equal terms and this has to change.
