Hexatronic lifts Q1 net sales 24% driven by foreign ops, builds up UK stock because of Brexit uncertainty

Swedish fibre-optic cable equipment manufacturer Hexatronic reported a 24 percent rise in first quarter net sales, with foreign markets accounting for a larger proportion of sales this year. EBITA increased but net profit was lower. It enters the second quarter with its order book 22 percent thicker than in Q2 2018, and said it is building up stock in the UK to cater for Brexit uncertainty.
