HiSilicon secures certification for NB-IoT SoC from TUViT

Chinese semiconductor company HiSilicon, a subsidiary of Huawei, announced it has secured certification for its NB-IoT System-on-Chip from TUViT, the German independent testing service provider for IT security. Certified devices will be commercially available towards the end of the year. The SoC enables IoT devices to operate on-air without any additional SIM card or eSIM chip.
