Hispasat, Phasor working on new sat-based antenna for land vehicles

Monday 12 March 2018 | 14:52 CET | News
Spanish satellite communications operator Hispasat has entered into a partnership with Phasor, a US company specialising in high-throughput flat-panel antennas, to develop and deploy a new antenna for high-speed satellite connectivity to professional and passenger land vehicles. Under the terms of the deal, the partners will design a Ku-band electronically-steered antenna (ESA) for land-mobility applications using the same core technology found in Phasor's commercial maritime and aeronautical ESA products.
