Hitachi Vantara appoints new East Africa regional director

Hitachi Vantara, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi, has appointed Wycliffe Selebwa as East Africa Regional Director. In his new role, Selebwa is tasked with working closely together with sales teams and other stakeholders to drive incremental revenue and market share in East Africa. 

Prior to joining Hitachi Vantara, Selebwa held a Business Development role at Oracle. Before this he headed up Oracle's Cloud Infrastructure sales team for almost five years. His fifteen years of experience in the technology industry also includes a seven-year stint as Managing Director and Enterprise Business Lead at Hewlett Packard as well as two years managing Distribution for Microsoft in Southern and Eastern Africa.

Selebwa holds a degree in Public Administration and Economics from the Moi University in Kenya as well as a post-graduate diploma in Sales and Marketing from the Institute of Chartered Marketing in the UK.
