HKBN strikes HKD 5.5 billion re-financing deal with banks

HKBN has announced it has completed a refinancing deal with Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank, Hong Kong Branch; JP Morgan Chase Bank; and China Construction Bank (Asia). This represents a HKD 5.5 billion 5-year bullet term loan at an interest rate comparable to HKBN's current bank borrowing rate of 2.7 percent in FY20. Due to the excess demand during syndication, the original deal was upsized from HKD 5 billion to HKD 5.5 billion, HKBN also said.
