HKT, Flowbird win smart parking meter system contracts worth HKD 680 mln

Hong Kong operator HKT and Flowbird, a parking and ticketing systems provider, have won two contracts from the Transport Department of the Government of Hong Kong. The contracts are worth a total HKD 680 million, and will cover the design, deployment and management of the new generation of parking meter system in Hong Kong. The new parking meter system is a smart mobility project of Hong Kong's Smart City Blueprint. It aims to provide a smart on-street parking service for motorists in Hong Kong and to upgrade city management.
