Hmicro, ST launch wearable wireless biosensor platform

HMicro and STMicroelectronics launched their cooperation to create a single-chip product for clinical-grade, single-use disposable smart patches and biosensors. Described as the industry's first such product, HC1100 is aimed at the 5 billion wired wearable sensors, such as those for vital-sign monitors and electrocardiogram leads used annually.
