HomeGrid demos 4K HDTV in-home delivery with Arris

Wednesday 3 June 2015 | 08:38 CET | News
Industry alliance HomeGrid Forum is demonstrating 4K HDTV in-home delivery at Computex 2015. 4K HDTV in-home delivery over powerline was demonstrated by Arris and a smart TV manufacturer. This powerline version of G.hn is a 'plug and play' technology for smart TVs. Customers can plug these smart TVs into an AC outlet to get both electrical power and access to the internet. The product thus becomes a 'smart home entertainment center' for services including education, health, shopping, games and many others, HomeGrid says.
