Honduras launches spectrum auction consultancy tender

The National Telecommunications Commission (Conatel) of Honduras has launched a public tender to select a company or consulting firm as advisor in the process for the assessment and preparation of the radio frequency spectrum auction. All interested parties can purchase the necessary documents for USD 100 at Conatel's offices from 20 to 28 June. No further information on the proposed spectrum auction was provided. Honduras has previously assigned spectrum in the 850 MHz, 1900 MHz and 1700/2100 MHz bands and has already launched LTE services.
