Honduras regulator publishes quality control proposal

Friday 11 December 2015 | 14:28 CET | News
The National Telecommunications Commission of Honduras (Conatel) has launched a public consultation over its proposed new mobile service quality control rules. Under the proposal, the proportion of dropped calls must be equal to or less than 3 percent. In addition, the proportion of SMS that fail to deliver can be no higher than 5 percent, while the time of delivery cannot exceed 120 seconds. The regulator will check whether the mobile service quality objectives are met at least once a year.
