Honduras regulator receives HNL 40 mln budget boost

The National Telecommunications Commission of Honduras (Conatel) has received an HNL 40 million (around USD 1.8 million) cash injection after running out of funds in October, reports local daily La Prensa. The country's finance ministry (Sefin) agreed to free up the extra funds to meet the regulator's fourth-quarter expenses following an earlier HNL 53 million cut in its budget.
