Hong Kong adds nearly 154,000 mobile subscribers in August

Hong Kong added 153,847 mobile customers in August, ending the month with 23.60 million mobile customers, compared to 23.44 million in July. Of the total, 9.46 million were postpaid users and 14.13 million were prepaid customers, according to figures from the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). Hong Kong's 3G customer base jumped to 4.70 million in August from 4.55 million in July, while the 4G customer base climbed to 18.26 million from 18.25 million.
