Hong Kong loses more than 10,000 fixed-line subscribers in September

Hong Kong lost 10,495 fixed-line subscribers in September, ending the month with 2.598 million users. The total includes 1.004 million residential fixed-lines and 1.594 million business lines. The number of non-exchange lines (which includes IP telephone and fixed wireless services) increased to 1.367 million in September from 1.365 million in August, according to figures from the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). The number of leased lines slightly declined to 139,647 in September from 139,662 in August.
