Hong Kong loses nearly 13,000 fixed-line subscribers in February

Hong Kong's fixed-line user base fell by 12,984 fixed-line subscribers to 2.822 million in February. The total includes 1.142 million residential fixed-lines and 1.666 million business lines. The number of non-exchange lines (which includes IP telephone and fixed wireless services) increased to 1.278 million in February from 1.274 million in the prior month, according to figures from the Office of the Communications Authority (OFCA). The number of leased lines grew to 137,269 in February from 137,020 in January.
