HPE, US Dept of Energy to develop AI, machine learning for more efficient exascale data centres

HPE said it will work with the US Department of Energy's National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) on artificial intelligence (AI), and machine learning for data centres in the exascale era. The partners want to develop technologies that automate and improve the operational efficiency of data centres, including resiliency and energy usage, and so reduce energy consumption and lower operating costs.
