HPE wins USD 2 billion high performance computing contract from NSA

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has won a 10-year contract to provide the US National Security Agency (NSA) with high performance computing (HPC) technology as a service, through the HPE GreenLake platform. The contract is worth a total of USD 2 billion. Under the deal, the NSA will get fully managed, secure cloud services on-premises, to meet its growing data management requirements. The agency will be able to then implement artificial intelligence, machine learning and analytics capabilities on massive sets of data.
