Hrvatski Telekom sees 12% growth in net profit in Q1

Croatian telecom group Hrvatski Telekom reported a 11.8 percent annual increase in profit to HRK 166 million in the first quarter of 2018. Without the contribution of Montenegro's Crnogorski Telekom, the net profit amounted to HRK 160 million, up 10.1 percent. Revenue fell 1.1 percent to HRK 1.79 billion, as erosion in the fixed market was offset by 2.8 percent growth in mobile. EBITDA still increased 1.6 percent to HRK 684 million, helping the EBITDA margin grow to 38.1 percent.
