Huawei agrees USD 1.5 bln credit with international banks

Huawei Technologies has agreed a USD 1.5 billion, five-year term loan and revolving credit facilities. The package includes a USD 750 million term loan and a USD 750 million revolving credit facility which are both available in USD or EUR, with the EUR tranche capped at EUR 300 million. The facilities will be used for general corporate purposes and/or to refinance existing debt. Huawei said this was its first dual-currency facility, aimed at supporting its strategic expansion in Europe. This is also Huawei's largest credit facility with international lenders.
