Huawei all-clear in security management audit

Chinese phone equipment maker Huawei has received the all-clear over concerns of that it may compromise UK national security, reports the Financial Times. An Ernst&Young management audit found that the Huawei-funded cyber security evaluation centre in Banbury established in 2010 was sufficiently independent from the company. It is where equipment is taken apart and software analysed to mitigate national security risks. The report said its 'technical assurance' was of 'sufficient scope and quality to meet its obligations.' The audit found three 'low risk' concerns, including difficulty finding
