Huawei appoints Deng as CEO of Thai operations

Huawei has appointed Abel Deng as CEO if its Thai operations. In his new role, Deng will manage Huawei's strategy, directions and the operation results, and will also lead the development of Huawei's businesses in Thailand, local newspaper The Nation reports. Deng joined Huawei in 2006, and since then, he has held senior positions within the company, including CEO of Huawei's south-eastern Africa office. Prior to becoming CEO of Huawei Thailand, Deng worked as the director of carrier network for Huawei Thailand since May 2018.
