Huawei appoints former UK sales director as CEO of Irish business

Huawei has appointed Tony Yangxu as CEO of its Irish business, with responsibility for the consumer, enterprise and carrier business divisions, reports the Irish Times.

He has held several senior roles at Huawei since joining the company in 2006, including sales director at Huawei UK. Huawei has sites in Dublin, Cork and Athlone, and employs over 500 workers directly and indirectly in Ireland.
