Huawei Ascend Y available through US Cellular

US Cellular and Huawei have launched the Huawei Ascend Y smartphone. The Ascend Y runs on Android 2.3 and is equipped with Google Maps, Navigation, Gmail, YouTube and SWYPE input. The Huawei Ascend Y features a 3.5-inch screen at 480 x 320 pixels, a 3.2 megapixel camera/camcorder, 4.8 hours of talk time and 12.7 days of standby time and comes equipped with DTS Envelo technology for virtual surround sound to enhance the audio experience. The Huawei Ascent Y is available to US Cellular customers for USD 29.99 with a 2-year agreement.
