Huawei, Black Lotus open anti-DDoS centre in Europe

Huawei announced at Cebit the opening of its European DDoS cloud scrubbing centre. Based in Amsterdam, the centre is run in cooperation with the security company Black Lotus. The two companies first announced their partnership last December. Huawei said the new site can defend against 160Gbps of DDoS traffic and will provide protection for tier-1 and tier-2 European network operators. Black Lotus has established many DDoS scrubbing centres around the world, providing a total defense capability of 1.4 Tbps, and has prevented millions of DDoS attacks. Huawei is also presenting at Cebit its Next
