Huawei expands TechCity initiative

Huawei has outlined plans to expand its TechCity initiative, aimed at helping mobile operators test and deploy new technologies quickly in order to build out their market lead and monetise investments. The company first unveiled the Techcity 2.0 concept in November 2016 and agreed partnerships in 14 cities in 2017. Two more are scheduled to launch in 2018, with LG Uplus in Seoul and Megafon in St Petersburg.
