Huawei introduces 8x8 Mimo LTE outdoor equipment with speeds of up to 1 Gbps

Huawei has introduced what it says is the world's first 8x8 Mimo LTE outdoor CPE (customer-premises equipment): the B3368. The announcement was made during the Mobile World Congress taking place in Los Angeles. Speeds with the CPE can reach 1 Gbps, letting operators provide fibre-like services over LTE networks while maximising both spectral efficiency and the value of LTE networks, Huawei said.
