Huawei launches high throughput router for ultra HD video

Friday 6 March 2015 | 12:33 CET | News
Huawei launched a high throughput router (HTR) aimed at providing users with ultra-HD video experience. Described by Huawei as the world's first such router, the HTR can sense congestion status, predict available bandwidth, automatically adjust network throughput, and provide differentiated service acceleration. HTR is designed to improve transmission bandwidth and minimise the negative impact of packet loss and delay on video service quality, providing operators with a platform for MBB 2K and FBB 4K video service development.
