Huawei launches new OceanStor enterprise storage systems

Huawei released its enterprise storage system, the OceanStor 18000 V3 series, at Huawei Cloud Congress Europe 2015. Comprising two models, the OceanStor 18500 V3 and the OceanStor 18800 V3, the series sets a new benchmark for high-end storage systems, delivering 99.9999 percent product availability, superior performance, and future-oriented cloud-ready convergence features to support enterprises in attaining consistent service availability. Both products in the OceanStor 18000 V3 series deliver a 95 percent improvement to disk reconstruction speed, and a gateway-free and active-active
