Huawei Marine begins work on PEACE cable

Huawei Marine says it has commenced desk study and marine survey works in conjunction with key investor Tropic Science to construct the Pakistan East Africa Connecting Europe (PEACE) submarine cable, which connects South Asia with East Africa, reports BusinessTech. With initial work under way, the project is targeted for completion in the fourth quarter of 2019.
