Huawei opens Smart City Innovation Center in Brazil

Huawei and the Pontifical Catholic University of Rio Grande do Sul (PUCRS) have inaugurated the Smart City Innovation Center, a research and development hub related to smart cities and the Internet of Things (IoT), located in the Scientific and Technological park of PUCRS (Tecnopuc) in Porto Alegre. The centre will test and proof concepts that help stakeholders in creating solutions for the areas of public management, health and education as well as the development of an operating system for smart cities and their applications.
