Huawei promotes trunking standardisation for disaster relief

Huawei, which is a member of Working Party 5A (WP5A), a subordinate working group of the International Telecommunication Union (ITU) radiocommunication sector (ITU-R), has joined hands with other radiocommunication players for a series of meetings to help promote the standardisation of broadband trunking. Huawei has joined the Public Protection and Disaster Relief communications (PPDR) team to take part in research into problems in public safety and disaster relief emergency communications
