Huawei signs partnerships with TIM and Vivo

TIM Brasil and Huawei have signed a partnership for technological cooperation in view of the opportunities brought by the 2016 Olympic Games in Rio de Janeiro, reports Computerworld. The two partners will consider setting up an innovation centre in order to promote research and development of mobile broadband technologies, cloud computing and virtualization of networks in Brazil. The companies foresee the establishment of solutions oriented to mobile video, M2M, TE Advanced, 4.5G, cloud computing, digital cities, IoT, SDN/NFV and LTE on 450MHz, among others.
