Huawei to invest USD 1 mln in ICT training in Cote d'Ivoire

Huawei will invest USD 1 million (XOF 500 millions) over three years in ICT development in Cote d'Ivoire, CEO Li Chang Y said at the opening ceremony of a XOF 231 million mobile network lab at the ICT university Esatic, Agence Ecofin reports. The new lab will allow students of the specialised university run by the ICT ministry to train in various domains such as digital data transfers, spectrum management, etc. The lab still awaits some elements, said Esatic head Konate Adama, such as core network and switching equipment.
