Huawei to invest USD 100 mln in Chilean cloud service

Huawei announced plans to invest over USD 100 million in Chile over the next 3 to 5 years during a visit by Chilean president Sebastian Pinera to the Chinese company's headquarters in Shenzhen, reports El Mercurio. The funds will be used to roll out a new cloud storage service in both Chile and neighbouring countries, said the report, citing Huawei Chile CEO Dou Yong.
