Huawei to open new Rome research lab

Huawei is preparing to open a new Rome-based research lab to work on enterprise applications and services in conjunction with leading Italian companies, country manager Edward Chan told Corriere delle Comunicazioni in an interview. The new lab in the Italian capital will join the smart city research centre recently inaugurated in Cagliari with advanced studies institute CRS4 and its Milan-based R&D centre specialising in microwave and 5G networks.
