Huawei, Unesco and African universities partner on IT competencies

Huawei partnered with the UNESCO, African Universities and various parties to offering ICT training in Sub Saharan Africa, reports Ecofin. The initiative will provide certification programmes from Huawei. Michael Meng, services director of the Huawei Enterprise Business Group for Southern Africa, said that the company wants to demonstrate that young talent in Sub-Saharan Africa has the potential to mature into world-class experts.
