Huawei unveils Atom carrier router the size of a finger

Huawei unveiled at the Mobile World Congress what it claims is the world's tiniest carrier-grade router, the Atom Router. The finger-sized router supports IP network operation and maintenance data, providing real-time measurement of per-user and per-service performance. It can be deployed on any network nodes without the need for network reconstruction. The Atom Router works immediately after being plugged into a service port of a device on an existing network, such as a base station, router or switch, without the need for extra power supply or site resources, enabling cost-effective
