Huawei unveils first Windows 8 smartphone, called W1, at CES

Huawei has unveiled its first Windows Phone 8 smartphone, the Huawei W1, at the International CES. The W1 is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8230 dual-core 1.2 GHz processor and Adreno 305 GPU and features a 1950 mAh battery with 470 hours of standby time and a 4-inch IPS LCD 480 x 800 touchscreen with OGS technology. The W1 comes in blue, red and black and white and will be available in China and Russia from January, with Western Europe, the Middle East, the US and other selected countries to follow.
