Hub:raum invests in IoT start-up Teraki

Teraki, a start-up for data optimisation, has joined Deutsche Telekom's laboratory for innovation, Hub:raum, via its incubator programme, with capital, expert know-how and workplaces. The founders of Teraki, Daniel Richart, Markus Kopf and Edouard Rozan, have developed data-reduction software that is able to remove 90 percent of irrelevant data from large quantities. This can greatly reduce the time that IoT applications require for data transmission and processing. In addition, the software reduces memory requirements and cuts terminal devices energy consumption by at least 50 percent. The
