Hungary completes transposition of European Electronic Communications Code

Hungary's telecom authority NMHH said it completed the elaboration of the new domestic rules implementing the EU's Electronic Communications Code. NMHH amended nine regulations and also created thirteen new regulations as part of this process. In July 2020, Hungary was one of the first in the European Union to transpose the European Electronic Communications Code into its own legal system by amending the Electronic Communications Act.
